Forestia floating floors are chipboards that are 16 mm thick and manufactured according to class P2. They are used as floating floors when leveling an existing load-bearing surface of raw leveled concrete, lightweight concrete elements or old board floors, before laying parquet and laminate floors, among other things. The floor construction can be supplemented with insulating boards if there is a need for thermal insulation.

Forestia Floor Extra P5/P6 is delivered with tongue and groove on four sides and are intended as free bearing substrates on wooden beams or batten with c/c 0.6 m or as floating floors. Forestia Floor Extra P5 is installed in rooms where the use of moisture resistant materials is recommended,e.g. in bathrooms, wash rooms, and kitchens.

Can be used as load-bearing subfloor on timber joists or battens, or as floating floor on other load-bearing substrates. The panels are profiled with a 4-sided double profile, and they are approved for max. c/c 1000mm joist spacing. All free panel edges must be supported.

Forestia Sound-reduction Floor P5/P6 is supplied in thicknesses of 22 mm with tongue and groove on four sides, and has milled slits to provide an opening to the air underlay. Forestia Sound-reduction Floor P5/P6 is used on wooden beams where there are noise reduction requirements. When selecting a sound-reduction floor solution with floating underlay on sound reducing board, the greatest sound reduction is obtained if the underlay is open to the air.
